Why your support matters
By Your Side London costs £74,657 a year to deliver. Closing the £25,000 gap funds more than one third of the service and provides approximately 352 parent carers with expert one to one support over the next year.
The funding supports two part time specialist parent advisers who meet families inside hospitals. They help parents access financial support, education, aids and adaptations, sibling support and other essential services.
Sometimes this means helping a family keep food on the table or a roof overhead. Sometimes it is the relief of knowing they are no longer alone.
